A hilarious web pilot, written and directed by John August, centering around 5 characters in a post-apocalyptic world. One of the characters is played by Justine Bateman. It’s quite unfortunate that this series never took off.
Classic Holiday Short

Donald’s Snow Fight (1942) is not only one of my favorite Christmas cartoons, it’s also one of my favorite animated shorts ever. NBC used to play this along with ‘Pluto’s Christmas Tree’ and a few others I don’t remember before Mickey’s Christmas Carol every year. Go ahead and check it out, because it will probably be taken down at some point.

Dilemma: Watching The Wire

I just finished Season 2 of The Wire after my wife graciously purchased it for me on a whim. I’ve been debating the best course of action to watch the remaining seasons. I was thinking of purchasing more seasons until I saw today that the entire series will be released in a nifty box set in December at a lower price than purchasing seasons individually.
The dilemma of course being that I would have to wait to finish the series - something I’m not happy about.
Do the best things come to those who wait or should I exercise a little carpe diem?
