GOP Powder Keg

If Obama continues his lead in the polls and wins the election, what will happen to this anger and bigotry? Where will it go, and how will it be expressed?

I don’t hold McCain/Palin responsible for the speech and actions of their supporters. That would be absurd. But they share part of the blame for fostering and fueling an environment where this behavior is socially acceptable. If this were an Obama rally of black supporters, Obama’s poll numbers would plummet in a heartbeat.

I acknowledge that Democratic rallies are not always civil affairs, but I’ve found no equivalent to the hate-speak here.

Nice. I haven’t heard the word “dolt” in a long time. I don’t consider myself a Republican or a Democrat, but I had high hopes that we would be having a much more civilized debate this year.
