Another great Muxtape from The Style Press. This one features My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Echo & the Bunnymen and Jesus & Mary Chain. I’ve been listening all afternoon, stuck in high school nostalgia.
Bonus: Barry on Echo vs. Jesus & Mary Chain:
They always seemed what? They always seemed really great is what they always seemed. They picked up where your precious Echo left off, and you’re sitting around complaining about no more Echo albums. I can’t believe you don’t own this fucking record.

Granted, I don’t keep up with beatboxing, but this video blew my mind. This is Felix Zenger from Finland.

The change happened so quickly that I wasn’t even aware of it at first, but Google Video search released a new interface last week. The new UI is similar to Google Reader with a navbar on the left and a main content window in the middle.

Volkswagen is considering Chattanooga for a new manufacturing plant. This will be the 3rd(?) auto manufacturer the City has tried to get at Enterprise South.
Despite my skepticism for whether it will happen or not, I really like the idea of Volkswagens rolling out of Chattanooga - moreso than the other companies they’ve tried to get on that site.
